Understanding the 4 Pillars

Our organization is built on four essential pillars: Mental Health, Diet & Nutrition, Physical Activity & Exercise, and Substance Abuse Prevention. These pillars represent the core areas where we focus our efforts to support and empower youth and teens. By addressing these key aspects of health and well-being, we aim to provide young people with the tools, knowledge, and resources they need to lead balanced, healthy lives.

Each pillar is crucial in fostering a brighter, healthier future for our communities.

Pillar #1

Mental Health

Many teens today face immense stress from school, extracurriculars, and social life, leading to anxiety and depression. In Georgia, suicide is the second leading cause of death among youth aged 10-24. We aim to reduce these rates by providing accessible mental health resources in schools, and creating safe spaces where teens can find the support they need.

Pillar #2

Diet & Nutrition

Good nutrition is vital for growth and development, but many Georgia families live in areas where fresh, healthy food is hard to find. We are committed to partnering with organizations to bring fresh produce and nutritious meals to those in need, ensuring all children have access to a healthy diet.

Pillar #3

Physical Activity & Exercise

Physical activity is crucial for a healthy life, yet many Georgia students are not meeting daily activity recommendations. We advocate for schools to incorporate more movement into the day, helping students develop healthy habits that last a lifetime.

Pillar #4

Drugs, Alcohol, and Vaping

Substance abuse is a serious issue among teens. Our goal is to educate and support Georgia’s youth, reducing substance abuse by half and ensuring every teen knows the risks and has access to help.
